Workshop Information
For all Workshops
It is advisable to come suitably dressed in loose comfortable clothing.
At the end of the session there will be a period of time dedicated to
deep relaxation. The body will cool down considerably at this time, so
a shawl or an extra top would be advisable. Bring a bottle of water, take
off your shoes and socks and remember to remove your watch too! It is
also advisable to bring a towel, as shower facilities are not available.
It is advisable not to eat two hours before class and for maximum benefits,
not less than one hour after. Please advise the teacher of any ill health
or problems, especially heart conditions, epilepsy, high or low blood
pressure or pregnancy prior to any workshop
* Mats will be provided, there is no need to bring your own.
* We have teamed up with Yogamatters to equip all workshop rooms with
Yoga mats.
Workshops Levels
Beginners - Intermediate - Advanced - Teachers
Beginners
This class is suitable for the absolute beginner to Yoga. The very basics
of the practice will be covered and experienced. Learn about the Asanas,
pranayama (breathing techniques), bandhas (body locks), mudras (hand positions)
and art of Meditation (silencing the mind). Gentle movements and a flowing
practice with subtle yet profound benefits, give a beautiful start to
this wonderful practice.
Intermediate
This class will be more challenging than the beginners. This session is
ideal for those who have been practicing for at least 6 months or for
those who are relatively flexible, strong and fit. At the end of this
session you will thoroughly feel like you have had a good stretch and
worked through the whole of your body.
Advanced
This class is for the absolute Yogi/ini. Ideally for those who have adopted
the Yogic lifestyle and practice everyday. There will be advanced postures
and techniques that require complete flexibility and bodily strength.
Intermediate students are welcome if they would like to be challenged
to the next level.
Teachers
These workshops are aimed at experienced Yoga Teachers/Practitioners.
Remember Yoga is UNION - not battle, and certainly not competition. Just
do all that you can, this is YOUR time to experience the inner world of

Admission to Workshops, Lectures & Children’s Room
Information
Workshop Rooms 1 & 2
An Admission ticket is required for entrance into all workshops/classes
that are held in rooms 1 & 2. Due to limited number of workshop tickets
available for each session, it is advisable to pre-book. Tickets may be
purchased online at www.theyogashow.co.uk or by phone on 01787 224040
or in person at The Yoga Show from stand no A7 (subject to availability).
Workshop Rooms 3 & 4 and all Open Classes
Take short introductory class with leading teachers or simply watch and
be inspired. All classes held in the Open Classes and rooms 3 & 4
are free to participate. The Open Classes are situated in the main exhibition
hall and workshop rooms 3 & 4 are situated on the balcony, level 1.
Admission to the Open Class’s and workshop rooms 3 & 4 are free
of charge and entry is on a first come first served basis. At the end
of each class session participants must leave the areas so the next workshop
presenter can set up, If you wish to join the next session please take
your turn in the queue. It is advisable to go to the area 5 - 10 minutes
prior to the start time. Tickets not required.
Lecture Area
Get a deeper understanding of the philosophy of yoga and or keep up to
date with the changes taking part in the world of Yoga. All lectures are
free of charge. The open lecture area is situated in the main exhibition
hall, admission to the lecture area is free of charge and entry is on
a first come first served basis. At the end of each lecture session participants
must leave the area so the next lecture presenter can set up, If you wish
to join the next session please take your turn in the queue. It is advisable
to go to the area 5 - 10 minutes prior to the start time. Tickets not
required.
Children’s Workshop
Both entrance to the exhibition for children and the children’s
yoga sessions are completely free. The Children’s Room is situated
in the main hall, please arrive at the children’s room approx 5-10
minutes prior to the session time (limited spaces first come first served
basis). Tickets not required. This facility is not a creche, parents must
remain with their children.
Demo & Main Stage Area
The demo & main stage areas are one of the central focal points of
the event, with short demonstrations of particular styles, sequences and
methods. Come and be inspired! The Demo and Main stage areas are situated
in the main hall and admission to these areas is free.
